Privacy policy
What we collect, why, where it goes, and how to have it deleted. The short version: we collect what you send us and nothing we sell. Last updated 4 November 2026.
Who we are
byagents (https://byagents.yup.fyi) is a studio run by Yashvanth (yashvanth.com) in Chennai, India. For any privacy question or request, use the contact form or message @byagents on Instagram.
The contact form
- What we collect: the name, email address and project details you type in, and the option you pick.
- Why: only to reply to you about your project.
- Where it goes: the form sends it to our inbox as an email through Resend, our email provider. We don't keep a separate database of it.
- How long: as long as we're talking about your project. Ask us and we'll delete it.
- We never sell or rent it, and we don't add you to a mailing list.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages are useful. It doesn't use cookies, and it reports only aggregate numbers, so it can't identify you. Our host, Vercel, also keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability.
Instagram, YouTube and the giveaway
When you follow, comment on or message @byagents, or watch our YouTube channel, those platforms' own privacy policies apply. We see what the platforms show any account owner: public comments, messages you send us, and total numbers such as views and followers. For the giveaway, we use your Instagram handle and comment only to run it (see the giveaway rules).
Our use of YouTube API Services (the “byagents uploader”)
We run a small internal tool, the byagents uploader, that uses YouTube API Services to upload our own videos to our own YouTube channel and read that channel's basic details and statistics. It is used only by the byagents studio, for the byagents channel.
- What it accesses: only the byagents channel that we signed in with. It doesn't access, collect or store any data about anyone else.
- What it stores: one sign-in token for our own account, kept privately on our own machines so the tool can upload without signing in every time. It stores no viewer data.
- Sharing: we don't share or sell any data obtained through YouTube API Services.
- By using our YouTube channel or this tool you're also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
- Access can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we'll do it within 30 days. Use the contact form or message @byagents. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
